FAQ

How do we book you?

You can book directly through my Services page, where you will find my collections and calendar availability. If you would prefer to connect first, you are always welcome to reach out through my Contact page and we can set up time to chat before booking.

How far in advance should we book?

Some couples book as far as two years in advance, while others reach out closer to their wedding date. Availability varies by season and location, so the sooner you are ready to secure your date, the better. If your wedding is coming up quickly, it is still worth reaching out to see if I am available.

Do you require a retainer?

Yes. A non refundable retainer of $600 is required to reserve your wedding date.

Is the retainer refundable?

No. The retainer secures your date and removes it from my calendar, and is therefore non refundable.

When is the remaining balance due?

The remaining balance is divided into equal monthly payments over six months, with the final payment due the day before the wedding. You are always welcome to pay in full earlier if you prefer.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Payment plans are included by default and are designed to make the process simple and manageable. Additional payments can be added if needed.

Can we change our collection later?

Absolutely. Many couples decide later that they would like to add an engagement session, a second photographer, or additional coverage. Collections can be adjusted as your plans evolve, subject to availability.

COVERAGE & COLLECTIONS

What does unlimited coverage actually mean?

Unlimited coverage means I am there for your wedding day without watching the clock. I do not believe in rigid time limits, because they create unnecessary stress for both couples and photographers. Your day is allowed to unfold naturally, without worrying about squeezing moments into a set number of hours or feeling rushed to fit in traditions.


From getting ready through the celebration on the dance floor, I stay present and responsive to the flow of your day. There are no surprise overage fees and no pressure to perform on a timeline that does not feel right for you.

Do you photograph rehearsal dinners or welcome parties?

Yes. Rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, and additional wedding events can be added to your collection and are a wonderful way to tell the full story of your celebration.

Do you offer elopements or intimate weddings?

Yes. If one of my collections does not quite fit your plans, reach out and we can create something that aligns with your needs. Intimate celebrations are just as meaningful and deserve the same level of care and attention.

Are engagement sessions included?

Engagement sessions are included in select collections. I also offer base collections without an engagement session for couples who do not feel they need one.

Can we add an engagement session later?

Absolutely. Engagement sessions can always be added at a later time, subject to availability.

Do you photograph getting ready?

Yes. I am there for the full wedding day, including getting ready.

Do you stay through the reception and dancing?

Yes. I stay through the reception as the night unfolds. I focus on capturing the meaningful moments, the energy on the dance floor, and the natural flow of the celebration.

How would you describe your photography style?

My work is rooted in authenticity and presence. I focus on capturing your day as it naturally unfolds, while offering guidance when needed to help you feel comfortable and confident. My goal is for your photos to feel honest, emotional, and timeless.

Do you focus more on candid or posed photos?

I take a balanced approach. You will receive a mix of gently guided portraits and candid moments, allowing your gallery to feel both intentional and natural.

How do you handle family portraits?

Family portraits are typically done right after the ceremony. I ask couples to provide a list of groupings ahead of time, and it is very helpful to designate one person who knows both families to assist with gathering everyone. I keep the process organized and efficient so it does not take away from your day.

THE WEDDING DAY

Do you work with a second photographer?

Yes. I work with a small group of photographers I trust and enjoy collaborating with. If a second photographer is a good fit for your day, we can discuss that together.

How do you work alongside videographers?

I work collaboratively with videographers, even if we are meeting for the first time on the wedding day. Clear communication and mutual respect ensure that everyone is able to capture the moments that matter most.

Do you help with timeline planning?

Yes. I am always happy to help with timeline planning, especially when it comes to lighting and choosing the best times and locations for portraits.

How do you handle challenging lighting or unexpected weather?

Some of the most magical images come from imperfect conditions. I am experienced in working with a wide range of lighting situations and weather, and I come prepared with professional lighting equipment when needed. My priority is adapting calmly so you do not have to worry.

What if someone feels camera shy or uncomfortable?

I never push anyone beyond their comfort level. My approach is gentle and supportive, allowing people to relax into the experience. If someone needs a bit of guidance, I help them feel at ease without forcing anything.

IMAGES & DELIVERY

How many photos will we receive?

You will receive a minimum of 300 fully edited images. Most galleries exceed this number, depending on the flow of the day.

When will we receive our gallery?

Your full gallery is typically delivered within six weeks.

Do you deliver sneak peeks?

I do not deliver sneak peeks. I prefer to deliver a complete, cohesive gallery that reflects the full story of your day.

How will we receive our images?

Your images will be delivered through a private online gallery hosted on Pixieset. All images included are fully edited.

Can we download high resolution files?

Yes. All of your images are yours to download in high resolution.

PRINTING & USAGE

Do we receive printing rights?

Yes. You receive full printing rights to your images.

Can we print photos anywhere?

Yes. You are welcome to print your images wherever you choose.

Do you offer albums and prints?

Yes. Your gallery includes access to a print and album shop where you can design albums and order professional prints and wall art directly.

TRAVEL & DESTINATIONS

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes. I am based in Michigan and Portugal and photograph weddings throughout the U.S., Europe, and beyond.

Is travel included?

Yes. Travel is always included in the pricing we discuss.

Are there additional fees for destination weddings?

Destination coverage is customized based on your plans. We will build a collection together that fits your needs.

POLICIES & BACKUP

What happens if we need to reschedule?

If you need to reschedule, we will work together to find a new date if I am available. If I am unable to cover the new date, refunds and terms are handled as outlined in your contract.

What if you are sick or there is an emergency?

In the unlikely event of an emergency, I have a network of trusted photographers I can recommend to ensure you are covered.

Are you insured?

Yes, I am fully insured.
