Six sessions. One golden evening at Indian Springs Metropark. I live in Portugal now, and I am flying home for a short stretch this May. Michigan hits a perfect window in late spring where everything is lush, the wildflowers are out, and the light lasts until 9pm. I carved out one evening to photograph the people I love most before I head back.

The Story

I moved to Portugal, and Michigan in late May is the thing I think about most. The wildflowers, the long light, the green that does not exist anywhere else.

I am flying home for a short stretch this spring and I carved out one evening for this. Six sessions, one golden hour, rain or shine. When I fly back, I am back in Portugal.

Sessions take place at Indian Springs Metropark with access to meadows, woodland paths, and open water. Specific locations within the park are selected the evening of your session based on light conditions.

Please note: Indian Springs Metropark charges a vehicle entry fee at the gate. This is separate from your session and paid directly to the park. Please plan to cover your own entry.

Rain or Shine

Sessions take place rain or shine. Overcast skies and soft rain produce even, beautiful light with no harsh shadows. I will not cancel for weather.

In the event of lightning or severe weather, your session will be rescheduled. You will be notified as early as possible and given priority placement.

A 50% non refundable deposit is required to hold your time slot. The remaining balance is due the week of your session.

That is it.

Sessions fill in order of deposit received. On May 31 I fly back to Portugal. When these slots are gone, they are gone until my next trip home.
